I have a RV50X presently running on Aleos Firmware 4.18.1 and applied the latest radio module firmware downloaded from the website, and since activating this radio our Verizon APN is not being applied. I worked with Verizon and we tried to manually enter the APN in via the Override APN field. No matter what we’ve tried, I see APN NOT FOUND.
I’ve read through several older posts from 2023. Including this one: APN not being set properly - #18 by jerdung
Are there any updates? I have an older RV50 and if I use the SIM from this RV50X, our APN is applied.
Any ideas?

Please provide full log file and template file for more checking:
***Here are the instructions for obtaining the log file and template file:
- The configuration template file can be found in ACEmanager → Template. Provide any desired name for the Template Name, and then press Download to retrieve the template file.
- Obtain the log file:
a. Go to AceManager > Admin > Log > Configure Logging.
Set all log levels to DEFAULT (NOTICE).
Set Linux Syslog to DISPLAY.
Then select Apply.
b. Reboot the gateway.
Reproduce the issue
c. Go to Admin → View log → Download Logs.

I found an older thread where the user mentioned disabling network switching, activating the generic firmware and rebooting the radio at which point the APN was assigned. I performed the following and the APN is now assigned, along with the correctly assigned IP.
- Disable Network Switching
- Set Firmware to Generic
- Rebooted radio.
- Set Firmware to Verizon
- Enabled Network Switching.
- Rebooted Radio.
The carrier assigned IP and APN are set with the radio now. We are going to deploy the radio and hopefully the IP and APN remain set with the radio, otherwise I will return and send the logs.
