EM7455 Flash

Hello,
we found out that, the LTE Modules has a Lenovo brand on it.
All of the LTE Moduls, we cannot flash, because the Driver are not working.
I also tried the Lenovo Driver, but no succes.
Is there any Solution?

Did you try linux in virtual machine?

You can also see here

Hello,

i managed to flash it with Linux, but still after the Flash the Driver still not work with WIndows.

Didn’t you just want to upgrade firmware?

Have you tried to rebrand it?

Hello,

i followed this guide here, this is for rebrand or?

And we need too flash this Version on it
SWI9X30C_02.30.01.01, but its not working.

I never tried to rebrand, you need to test it

Didn’t you already upgrade firmware with linux platform?

I already upgraded the Firmware under Linux, but still under Windows the Driver are not Working.
I even Changed the Code to try other Versions to flash on the LTE Modul, but than still not working under Winodws.

I will try to make some Picture or a Video.

Are you trying to use it in a lenovo pc?

Have you tried to rebrand to “Generic Sierra Wireless em7455/mc7455” according to your link?

Hello, for a long time I was using this Code, and it was working. But somehow Sierra changed something and the Code is not working anymore.
Someone has the same Problem and a solution for it?

Still need to flash a alot of Sierra EM7455 Modules.
Thanks

what is the problem right now?

When I try to flash the a Module, this error happens.

`Download of zip failed. File size on server is too small, something is wrong, exiting… Attempted download URL was: https://source.sierrawireless.comzip curl info:

which FW are you going to update?

This one

TMO (Generic)SWI9X30C_02.30.01.01 002.045_002

how about other exe?
Is it the same?

I dont know how to change it. Because this Version worked fine.

Here is a Picture how it looks like.

normally it should download the file from the homepage.

it should not be a zip file
you need to unzip it!

its allready unziped, but still the same problem.

then why it still sees the zip file in the error message?

I have no idea, it was working until sierra changed something on their Homepage.

Seems you cannot answer why your linux still sees the zip file…
what has been changed then?
