RV50 user and password issue

Hi!

I just started in a project that needs a preprogrammed RV50 by YSI. I installed the sim card but appears to be an issue with the network APN. I tried accessing the modem through the ACEmanager but the user and password written on the modem by YSI does not grant me access. I cannot do a factory reset because I don’t have the parameters they used. I tried my credentials in Airvantage but it says: forbidden access, denied. What are my options? Thanks, in advanced!

Hi @ehernandez,

If the password is lost, you can reset it through AVMS. But if you can’t access it, you’ll need to ask the admin who manages the company that the device is registered under to do it.

HI. I am having a similar issue. I have received a new RV50 and am trying to log in to ACEmanager but the default password printed on the sticker is not being recognized as the correct password. I have tried factory resetting by doing a long press on the reset button, and I have also tried the 12345 password. And of course, quadruple checked that I have typed in the default password provided on the sticker correctly.

Welcome to our community!
If you can not log in to ACE Manager with the default password 12345, or the default password is printed on the sticker.
There is another way to reset the factory default password, which is by doing it through AirVantage.
Could you please let me know if your device has been registered on AirVantage yet?
