RV50 Unable to sen SMS

I am attempting to configure a RV50 as an SMS gateway, but I cannot seam to get the messages sent successfully.

Below are logs from near the attempt. Phone number changed but valid number.

I’m not sure if it’s on provider side or I’m just not able to make sense of which errors are useful. Any help is appriciated.

Hi gsm,

When you want to send sms from remote to device that connected to AirLink gateway. Please make sure your device is configured as below:
1. “Trusted Phone Number” is disabled.
2. If “Trusted Phone Number” is enabled, please download the configuration user guide at link below and follow steps at page 223

3. “Local Host Port” is matched with the connected device.

When you want to send sms from device that connected to AirLink gateway to remote side:
1. ALEOS Port is matched with the connected device.
2. Your sms format is correct. You can define your sms format at page 216 in configuration user guide.

Hi gsm,

There is no issue from my side. Could you please check both your sims on cellphone to make sure your sims are able to send SMS?

Could you provide your AT command which you sent by telnet ?

Make sure the data plan from your cellular carrier has the SMS feature enabled on the plan. Many carriers have that disabled by default.
