RV50 ALMS protocol will not register LWM2M

I have three RV50 modems that have been updated to the most current firmware (ALEOS RV50 4.15.0.010) that will not register ALMS service as LWM2M. They will default to MSCI under failover however if only LWM2M is selected they will not register. All my other RV50 modems with the same setup work fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

In ACEmanager → Services → ALMS → Airlink Management Service, Could you show me what the message displayed in “Status” field?

If I assign LWM2M only registration will fail. If I assign fallback to MSCI it will register via MSCI. See attached screenshots.

I also verified the server URL is the same as the other units that work.

Hi mrb188,

If your RV50 using Wifi WAN or ethernet WAN, I wonder if ALMS traffic could be blocked due to your internal network policy. In this case, please change to cellular WAN and try again.

If not, please follow these steps:

  1. Try to reinstall firmware from here :
    https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/software_downloads/rv50/rv50-firmware-list/#sthash.5PbNqaCM.dpbs
  2. Delete your system and re-create on ALMS, then try again.
