MP70 with 2x2 mimo wifi drops wifi connection for 15 seconds after 10 seconds connectivity

Hi all, Having difficulty connecting a mp70 to wifi on a starlink mini. Found the starlink mini on wifi, and able to intermittently connect to the wifi, but it gets caught in aloop of 100% dropped packets for 15 seconds, then 10 seconds connected.
We’ve gone through pretty intense diagnostics with starlink, and they are pretty convinced that it’s either our mimo configuration, or a reestablishment from the mp70 to the starlink wifi. Have been able to confirm that changing it to 1x1 mimo makes this behaviour significantly worse, with 45 second outages every minute.

Unsure the next steps, are there specific logs that I can get to help provide diagnostics? Thanks

To narrow down the issue, please answer the question below:

  1. Are you using an antenna from Sierra Wireless or another brand? If you use another brand, please try using an antenna from Sierra Wireless and check if the same issue occurs.
  2. Have you tried using another MP70 to wifi on a Starlink mini and check if the same issue occurs?
  3. Have you tried connecting MP70 to wifi on another access point and check if the same issue occurs?
  4. Are you using the latest version of this MP70? If not, try using the latest version to see if the issue still occurs?

I’m also having the same issue with my MP 70. I have tried several different MP 70s I am at the latest software from sierra wireless. Keep getting packets dropped to the point the setup is unusable.

any thoughts?

I am using a sierra wireless antenna, and do not have access to other mp70 units. I am current on the MP70 and starlink software.

Could you please get the log and template log by the instructions and send me to investigate this issue:

1.The configuration template file is in ACEmanager → Template, provide any name you desire for the Template Name, and then press Download to retrieve the template file.

2.Collect logs procedure:

a. Go AceManager > Admin > Configure Logging

Set all log levels to DEFAULT (NOTICE)

Set Linux Syslog to DISPLAY

b. Reboot the gateway.

c. Perform your test again.

d. Go Admin → View log → Download Logs.
