MC8795V Audio Glitches on Call Connect

Just joined a project using the MC8795V and we’re experiencing a loud audio distortion on calls connecting on Vodafone NZ. Is this a known issue and is there a suitable upgrade?

We’re using the AT interface and have products in the field so any FW upgrades would need to be done from a Linux console. Looking forward to a reply.

It seems to manifest on most networks that have High Quality Audio enabled. We’re running some modems with v35 that the issue manifests on reliably, any FW after v46 seems to work fine without the glitching.

If this is purely a modem FW issue it would be great to know how to get CWE files loaded onto our units under Linux
