The error log:

OK, I’ll bite, where did you find the log file ?

I clicked where it says, “Show Error Log”… 8)

I suppose I asked for that  , but I don’t have the “show error log” link. I guess from the GUI look you’re running Win 2K, but that doesn’t explain the different Dialog Box content. Are we running the same version ?

No, it’s XP - I prefer the “caalssic” look.

It looks like mine is failing at a different point from yours?

Mine seems to be failing in the check for the updates, whereas yours is failing in the actual update process

They may or may not be related, of course…

The annoying thing for me is that this was a known bug in Eclipse 3.4 in July, and it’s fixed in 3.5, which despite the comments in the release notes, doesn’t support M2MStudio. What a mess…

Please note this is another issue that the one concerning Software Updates (tracked in another post).

I guess it occured when you tried to install an Open AT software package while the software update checking job is running.
We are aware of this issue and will fix it.
As a workaround, you should just wait that the software update checking job is terminated before installing a new software package.
