LX40 as VPN Server to allow connections from WIndows 10 VPN Client (or equivalent client)

Is it possible to use Windows 10 VPN Client (or equivalent) to connect over VPN to a remotely deployed LX40 (acting as VPN Server) such that i can remotely access a LAN device on the LX40 from my office PC? If so, any articles or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi tclark,

There should be a VPN server between your PC and LX40. Both your PC and LX40 should connect to the VPN server as client and you need to make sure client-to-client connections in the VPN server are enabled.

So it is not possible to have the LX40 be the VPN Server and allow a client connection to it?

I am not sure how to solve my problem.

I am trying to access a BACnet device connected to a remote offsite LX40 via my office workstation/software.

Hi tclark,

You should have an OpenVPN server between LX40 and your remote PC. LX40 cannot act as server in the picture above.
