link issue after programming with hyperterminal

I’m having trouble getting my application to run after loading onto a fastrack supreme 20 using hyperterminal.

RTE execution works fine and when I make & load the .wpb.dwl using hyperterminal everything seems to go ok, however when I execute at+wopen=1 nothing happens.

at+wopen?
+WOPEN: 1
OK

at+wopen=7
+WOPEN: 7,8
OK

Indicating:
“8 - link issue
The application global variables area initialization is impossible”

I’m using the latest OpenAt Software Suite (version 2.0.2?) from the website and have upgrade the FS20 firmware using DwlWin to 7.1.

What’s the problem?

Peter

It seems to work with the Memory Type set to 256K in Project Settings (and not with +1M). Is this the right setting for the FS20? I couldn’t see it in the documentation.

I’m having a similar problem. I’m developing under vista 64, but that shouldn’t be the problem.

Did you ever find out whether the Fastrack Supremem 20 is supposed to be 256K or 1M+?
According to this site it has 8MB of memory, so I don’t see why it should be having this problem.

According to the online product catalogue wavecom.com/catalogue/ it has 256MB Application RAM and 1.5MB application Flash.
