Hello

I have AirLink Fastrack Xtend EDGE FXT009 modem.
I want to use AT+WIP commands (WIP TCP/IP plugin)
But they don’t work (all such commands return ERROR).

AT+WCFM=5 returns:

at+wcfm=5

+WCFM: 000007F1,0

OK

So IP is enabled.

ATI9 command returns:

ati9

As I understand this means that WIP plugin is not installed on modem and I have to install it myself.

So I installed latest Sierra Wireless Development System
I found WIPSoft.dwl file in following location:

c:\Program Files\Sierra Wireless\Embedded Software
com.wavecom.openat.ide.spm.lib.plugin.model.WIP.5.40.0.201007290812_5.40.0.201007290812
resources\WIP\samples\WIPSoft\bin\WIPSoft.dwl

Is this correct DWL file which supports +WIP AT commands?
If I download this file to modem will +WIP commands work properly?

Can I download this file with AT+WDWL command?

Yes, that is the correct file.

You may later want also to upgrade OS from 7.43, as you will have the latest Wipsoft installed, but not necessary.

I tried and all works.
I downloaded WIPSoft.dwl file with AT+WDWL command to modem and AT WIP commands became available.

One strange thing.
ATI9 command show following:

i have same problem, i’m using fxt009

but i cannot download using DWLWin,

would you explain to me step by step to wipsoft install…

1.Go to C:\Program Files\Sierra Wireless\Developer Studio\dropins\com.wavecom.openat.ide.spm.lib.plugin.model.WIP.5.30.0.2040\resources\WIP\samples\WIPSoft\bin, There is some .wpb file which is using for downloading the application in DWLWin.

  1. Choose one of it in DWLWin
    3.Switch the module to boot mode
    4.Press Start button and then reset the module.
