Inquiry about Sierra Modem for Bulk SMS and SIM Switching

I am currently looking into solutions for sending bulk SMS and I’m interested in using a Sierra modem. However, I have limited knowledge in this area and would appreciate your guidance.

Specifically, I need a modem that can:

Support sending large volumes of SMS messages.
Have the ability to switch between multiple SIM cards (profiles) automatically when the balance of one SIM runs out, so that I can continue sending messages without interruption.

Could you please recommend a suitable model that would meet these needs? Additionally, if this setup is not possible or if the process is different from what I’ve described, I would appreciate any clarification or suggestions.

you can write a script to periodically send AT+CMGS command to send SMS.

You need to have a SIM switch hardware and let the module read different SIM card.
For example, below screenshot is from WP76 product technical specification:

Thanks for the clarification. I understand now. Could you recommend the most suitable product for my needs, one that is prepared to handle switching between SIM profiles? Would the WP76 be a good option?

Is this a matter of using eSIMs, or would it require physical SIM cards? If it involves chip which device would be the easiest to set up? Please keep in mind that I don’t have advanced knowledge of electronics.

if you need multiple physical SIM card, you need to have the SIM switch hardware to switch different SIM card.
Sierra module does not include this SIM switch, customer needs to build this part for their own usage.

The eSIM inside WP76 is not for consumer eSIM…

Instead, you can try these EM/MC modules:

Be careful that not all of them have embedded SIM.
Before buying the module, you need to check the SKU whether they have the eSIM inside
