Send multiple SMS simultaneously using Multiplex?

Is it possible to send multiple SMS simultaneously? Will multiplex what I am looking for? Can either the SMS or MMS be multi threaded in any way using the HL7588, or is it impossible to send more than one at a time?

I understand Sierra allows you to upload custom applications into the module, would that be necessary / possible? I just picked up the MangOH Green and dual HL7588 and would like to know if it is possible.

I think it is in the nature of the Short Message Service (SMS) that each message has only a single destination?

To send to multiple recipients you will have to

  • either: have your application send them individually
  • or: use a “Bulk SMS” service

Not the HL series - you need the WP series for that:
