(hope these are the right ones)
but i havent any clou, what software would be needed, to handle this PC-phone (f. instance sending/receiving sms, call mailbox & so on)?
could somebody help?
thanx in advance!

what did you see in the device manager?
but i think, there must be a software to handle this, as one need a key board for dialling, eventually connecting a headset, etc etc

you can try this software:
you can also see here:
Hello,
I have the above computer with a EM7455 (Dell 5811e).
Under Linux (Ubuntu) I can access and connect to AT&T, but on the same system (Dual-Boot) running Windows 10 I have the drivers loaded and it shows the USB Device: Sierra Wireless Snapdragon ™ X7 LTE-A USB Composite Device. but there are no network adapters detected, and Skylight says “Mobile Broadband device not detected.” I have the latest drivers from Dell installed.
Can someone please help in getting this device to function unde…
thank u very much, that works proper!
BUt: is there a posssiblity to connect a headset?
tryed to connect one (no name) but it doesnt work…
does it have to be a Sierra Wireless-made?

I don’t think the EM7455 is supporting voice call
Hi ChristopherS,
Yes, you are correct. EM7455 has no voice capabilities.
any idea, which one could do so?
should be insertable for a Latitude 7200 2-in-1
(could be a M.2 -socket, at the moment i’m not shure)
thank u very much!

will you consider to use VOIP?
In this case, the cellular module can be data only
data only means only websites on internet?
and normal phone calls are impossible?
or is it possible, to get phone calls, sms, credit load, and have internet?

Voice call is not supported in em7455
What do you mean by cash load?
prepaid.
is there any module for integrating in the engine?
(Latitude 7200 2-in-1 with a i5-8365U)
it must have the same connection-mode (M.2?) as the DW5811e
ANd it should be able for:
voice calls 2. sms, 3. prepaid load, internet.
all this by computer key board and headset.
edit:
is this M2?

I don’t see the module in your picture, is it em7455?
For voice, you can see here:
yes, if one remove the module, its the empty place.
this shows it inserted:

Em7455 should be using m.2 adaptor
Yes.
BUt question is:
which module with M.2 adaptor can voice calls, sms, internet and prepaid load?
Is there still something, usable in a Latitude 7200 2-in-1?
I know an older Air Card, 775 or 875 or the like, but these where running only under Win XP or 7…
would be great, if there could be still one for a Latitude 7200 under Win 10…?

I am note sure if EM7355 can suit your environment.
Here says you need to obtain a unit that comes with FW 6.x (data+voice) baseline:
Note, correct that FW versions that support voice is 6.x baseline. For that you would need to obtain a unit that comes with this FW baseline. Upgrading from 5.x (data only) to a 6.x (data+voice) baseline is not supported.
Having said that, EM73xx product is end of life so these modules are no longer available.
Please also note this EM73xx module has been end of life for many years and this firmware 6.x baseline cannot be officially downloaded:

One question here is that even you can find one module that supports voice, did you check if your m.2 adaptor has the audio circuit outside which is connected to your headset?
