EM9191 : AT+CFUN=1 returns CME ERROR: operation not supported

Is your sim 5g sim?
Did you check at!selrat? And at!band?
Is your Apn correct for 5g?
Did you establish data traffic to the host? If no data traffic, it will stay in lte mode

Upgrade of old EM9191 firmware and band N40 support

Hey! We are using two EM9191 5G modems together with an Amarisoft Callbox. Both were working fine. Due to project requirements we need to use band N40 which is listed as supported in the EM9191 technical spec. AT!BAND=? does not list n40 as supported. I am not sure if that is due to the old firmwares installed on the EM9191s we have. Does anybody know if newer firmwares enable band n40? I have not found anything in the release notes.
