I am having trouble connecting to the internet with my EM7421 modem in Windows 10.
On the desktop, I see the operator name and the “No Internet Access” message under the operator name.
The active network operator name, the DHCP IP address, gateway, and DNS addresses assigned automatically from the operator can be seen properly in the Network Connection Details.
The Bytes statistic sent is e.g. 39414 but Received is 0. It seems like the Sierra modem can not receive data from the Internet…
I have tried to fill the operator APN manually, but it can not be saved due to the next message showing: “Cellular data isn’t working properly. Try again later.”
I updated the EM7421 driver to the latest on your website and the issue is still occurring.
I updated the EM7421 firmware to the latest on your website:
SWI9X50C_01.14.13.00
EM7455 is working in the same unit.
This particular modem does work in Ubuntu (we have an internet connection).
Could you please let me know how I should proceed?
I didn’t know that I had tried all the firmware.
When I used the KT firmware, I didn’t have service at all.
When I used the Generic firmware, I couldn’t connect to the internet.
My local operator is Pelephone (LTE).
One of my customers tried the following operators: Vodafone CZ (LTE), T-Mobile CZ (LTE), and O2 CZ (LTE).
Both of us were unable to connect to the internet.
Hi,
I’m sorry, I’m not at work right now.
Could you please let me know which details you need and which AT commands you would like me to check?
I will do it on Sunday and provide you with all the details that you need.
Thank you,
Roei

Hi,
I’m trying to fill in the APN settings in Windows.
“Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Cellular > Advanced options > Add an APN.”
When I save the APN, I get the message “Cellular data isn’t working properly. Try again later.”
When using the EM7455, I do not need to fill in the APN, as it does this automatically.
Thank you,
Roei
