We are having a problem with Sierra EM7421 modem.
Trying to commands on EM7421 we get the following:
On the other hand, we tested Sierra EM9191 on our platform and it works fine. (we are able to connect to internet):

You type the wrong command
+cpin , not cpid …
Sorry, I had a typo in my command: AT+CPIN?
the output is: +CPIN: Ready.
but still can’t click on Cellular and turn it ON. we can do this with EM9191 and browse the internet without any problem using same design and SIM.
what could be the problem?
Have you set apn?
Have you checked at!gstatus?
Have you checked signal state?
Have you enabled mbim interface?
Here are some commands that I have checked, bottom line, I still can’t browse the internet. is it something has to do with Windows configuration?
I tried also with E7411 without success!
I also tried to configure APN. it didn’t help.
the APN I enter is: “internet.rl”
in addition to user and password.
