I have a dozen modems that are now unreachable, all with “eairlink.com” DDNS. I can’t talk to an actual person at Sierra to let them know. You can’t even ping eairlink.com
If I use static IP to some of them, everything is fine.
This affects my clients, I am hoping this can be resolved as I am getting calls about it already.
Sierra Wireless discontinued free IP Manager Dynamic DNS Service (hosted at eairlink.com) on July 1, 2023. Sierra Wireless recommends that customers configure an alternate commercial dynamic DNS service.
We just notice sierra has shut down the eairlink. com. Switching to noip, unfortunately the RV50 update a different IP address to noip server. RV50’s IP is 10.x.x.x but noip is getting 111.x.x.x.
Tested another gateway modem from other manufacturer and the same SIM card (used in the RV50) is work fine. Noip gets the same IP address as the gateway modem.
