I have 4 XR60’s installed in public safety vehicles. The fire agency uses an application called tablet command(TBLTCMD) to track the GPS location of vehicles. Typically the vehicles have IPADs assigned to run TBLTCMD, but in this case we are using the XR-60’s to report directly to TBLTCMD. Either the XR-60’s are not reporting correctly or TBLTCMD is not configured correctly. I have to work with another agency to make changes to TBLTCMD so I do not have direct access to the server. I do know that we can do this with MP-70’s and I have my XR-60’s programmed almost exactly the same. Has anyone else run into something similar? Please let me know.
Hi @john.gallagher,
Welcome to our community!
- What version of Airlink OS is the XR60 running?
- Please ensure that a GNSS antenna is connected to the router.
- Have you followed the instructions at the following link: Configuring GNSS and Location Reports - XR60-5.0 - Sierra Wireless?
- Please share a screenshot of the Remote Reporting Server configuration under Services > Location > Reporting.
- Please go to System > Logs > Regular log, select download and share regular log file of the XR60 with me.
Thanks,
Hey thank you for the reply. im still dealing with this issue. Above are the screen shots you requested but I do not see where I can download the logs. All physical connections are correct, the XR-60’s are successfully reporting to another remote server but cannot connect to the tablet command server. We’ve tried using the cellular IP, TAIP ID and NMEA ID and nothing is working. Ive been in contact with Semtech Support and they see that the XR-60 is sending the data, but apparently the tablet command server is not receiving. The system owner of the tablet command server is unable to pull logs for review.
