Can anyone help me in finding a 4G LtE CDMA network compatible WWAN card? I thought the EM8805 model would work for me, but it seems that it will not work. I’ve been working on this for a long time and cannot figure it out. Thanks to any who give some input.
LTE/CDMA based modules are no longer available as networks are turning off CDMA. Last few of these were Sierra Wireless MC7750 and MC8355, both are obsolete and no longer available. Also note, these are MC (minicard form factor) unlike the EM series that are M.2 form factor so not compatible with any platforms that may support M.2 interface.
I suggest consider LTE only modules and evaluate those for compatibility with your specific platform/notebook:
