Why WIP_CEV_PEER_CLOSE

I use supreme 20 modem for gprs data transfer. I use windows based tcp socket data transfer two applications with supreme modem. At one windows tcp application I can send and get data from supreme 20 modem, but other wiindows application after some data transfer WIP_CEV_PEER_CLOSE occur and supreme modem doesn’t answer the data request, because modem closed the socket communication. To be able to transfer data again, we need to reset modem and crete new socket connection.

Why occur WIP_CEV_PEER_CLOSE and what I can sort up this problem?

Thanks in advice

Maybe that’s a problem with the “other windows application”?

The WIP_CEV_PEER_CLOSE close event occurs when the receiving party (eg. your “other” win app) does not properly respond to an IP packet. The could be because the socket has been closed, the application hangs or other events. I would suggest that you take a look at the windows application since its probably the cause of the problems you are experiencing.
