Why event WIP_CEV_PEER_CLOSE is raised

Hi all,
I am using SL6087, firmware 7.51 and recently i have encountered a strange problem as below:

My modem reads data via UART then send it to a remote server via GPRS. While doing that, it suddenly raises event WIP_CEV_PEER_CLOSE (an event of TCP socket), results in TCP connection lost. I don’t know why that event is raised although the remote server still works normally i’m sure.

It will be very grateful if anyone can help me. Thanks in advanced

Obvious first question: as the name of the Event suggests, did the peer actually close the connection

Hi awneil,
Thanks for your reply. However, i simulated a mimic client on window and the server did not close socket at all. That’s why i wonder if modem raises that event by itself?
