Unable to connect to LX40 devices with private network

We have 50+ LX40 at remote locations and we are using private network. We have noticed that remote connections to these modems either very slow or not working at all. When we put details in browser, some of the devices shows the page to put username and password and once we enter details it takes long time to login, or it stays as blank page. We are in process to upgrade firmware version to 4.18. Some of the modems we have upgraded to 4.18 and behavior is same. I like to know if anyone else facing similar issues or if there is any known solution.
Note: We do have LX40 in public network and they work great for remote connections.

We did not test the LX40. Not yet. I will try and help though - reads like an IP routing problem. Can you get more information when it is connected to the private network? Is this private network in the USA or Canada? Asking to understand the LTE modem support inside the LX40.

As I said, connection has worked for us sometimes and when it worked it was very slow. Private network in Canada. I read in the guide (ALEOS 4.18.0 Software Configuration User Guide for AirLink LX40 - P463) about MTU where it states that router at network provider end has to be somewhere in 13XX range and not 1500 for private networks. I am not sure if that is the case as MTU is set to Auto on our end and it is showing 1500. I am also unsure if network provider changes MTU to 13XX range, do I lose connectivity (data traffic) to all my remote modems till we restart each of them.

I understand. I am working on a response today.

@ a remote location from which you do not receive a response to your web page login, can you get more information from Ace Manager? The status screen. The IP address. The Advanced screen.
Asking, need more information to understand the communications with the private LTE network.
What radio module firmware versions are in use at the various locations?
The support page shows various versions are possible.

I tried to connect and on first attempt after using username and password page stayed blank. I reload page and enter details, and it went through. For this modem firmware is 4.15.1 but we have few that are upgraded to 4.18.X and we are seeing same behavior on all. We are in process to upgrade all to 4.18.X and so far, upgraded 10 out of 52. Please see attached screens.

Hi @nitant_patel,

Based on your description, you mentioned that LX40 on public networks work well for remote connections. To narrow down whether the issue is related to the LX40 itself, you could try inserting a SIM that is not on the private network and see if the issue still occurs.

Thanks,
