SMTP Failure: Connection to server impossible

Hi guys,

I tried configuring SMTP on the RV50 with ALEOS 4.17.1 and tested sending an email. However, I keep encountering the error “Failure : Connection to server impossible.”

This message appears in the log file:

May 14 08:19:59 [err ] ALEOS_SYSTEM_Cmdexe Connect: SMTP server Connect failed May 14 08:19:59 [err ] ALEOS_SYSTEM_Cmdexe Failed to connect to SMTP server

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

There is a similar issue that has been raised for analysis.
To make sure you’re encountering the same issue, please provide the log and template files with me so I can compare and analyze them.

I am having the same issue with a LX60.
