Save Problem in Eclipse

Hi,

I am a beginner. I edited a source code in Eclipse and I was having a problem where I couldn't save the edited codes before building. A window popped up like this

Anyone has any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Is it write-protected?

Do you also have it open in another editor?

Yes, it’s a read-only file. However, even I’ve unchecked the “read-only” box at the properties of the code files, I’m still unable to save in the Eclipse IDE.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your suggestion. I could edit the source code using other editor like MS Visual studio. But, I was wondering how I could change the associated IDE to MS visual studio as I have to compile the codes using Eclipse after editing. My Open At IDE Settings Window is as below, do I just change the “Eclipse IDE path” to the Visual studio directory???

Thanks again…

Deinitely NOT! :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

What version IDE do you have?

Does it support Visual Studio?

Hi,

It's Open AT IDE 1.04.06. It doesn't seem to support visual studio. Where can I get the latest IDE? Is it compatible with the hardware (Fastrack M1306B) that I am using?

Thanks…

The M1306B is classed as Obsolete - so you do not want the latest IDE!

If you go to the M1396B Product page, you should be able to download the last available IDE for it.

Alright. Thank you very much. I truly appreciate for your help.
