[RRMM DEBUG] Fail to get UTC Network TIME

SL808XT (SL808x) running R7.52.0.201310290537

Hi all,

My module constantly tries to obtain the time from the network, but none of the four networks I’ve tested provide it.

Is there any way of disabling the time synchronisation attempts? It seems redundant as it always fails, plus I have no requirement for time synchronisation in my application.

I prefer to disable all non-essential features wherever possible.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave,

That’s the NITZ and most carriers support it.
In order to handle the NITZ from carrier and the feature is built into stack, I don’t think we can disable it.

L3RR is FW/stack related, normally, we don’t have to check that trace level except facing network issue.

Thx

Hiya,

Not familiar with the SL8 series, but the Q26 modules support at+wind in the firmware and you can use this command to disable the unsolicited network events (including NITZ)

Maybe this could help your issue.

Ciao, Dave
