to maintain an old system based Q2686 with the framework 2.36, firmware R7.46 and due to an hard disk crash lost the old Framework 2.36 Full Installer. The developer studio package manager is down. Can somebody help me with a copy?
Hi jyijyi, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the link points to the install instructions that use updatesite.sierrawireless.com/airvantage as the package repository — but that update site appears to be offline (DNS no longer resolves). So Developer Studio’s Package Manager can’t reach it to download v2.36.
What I actually need is either:
The Open_AT_Application_Framework_v2-36_Full_Installer.exe file directly (~500 MB), or
The firmware/OS package files for v2.36 / R7.46 that can be imported offline into Developer Studio’s Package Manager
Does anyone have these archived? The module is a legacy Q2686G — R7.46 is the final firmware that supports this variant (R7.51+ are Q2686RD-only), so I specifically need v2.36 to rebuild legacy apps.
Thanks. The original distributor is no longer in business, so I am now looking for an archived copy from anyone who still has an old Developer Studio / Wavecom setup.
The download completed successfully for me and the file size is about 528,958 KB, so it appears to be the real full installer and not just an HTML stub.
This should help anyone trying to restore the old Q2686G / Framework 2.36 / R7.46 environment now that the original Sierra package manager repository is no longer working.
