We have about 40 of these and all work except one. Concerned that this may be a hardware issue. I enabled SNMPv3 but a port scan shows 161 closed and the server shows it as unreachable over SNMP (ping and login is fine).

Among the devices that are working well, do any of them have the same ALEOS version and radio firmware as the one facing the issue?
Is the MP70 that’s experiencing the issue configured the same way as the working MP70?
Please use the template from the MP70 that’s working fine with the same firmware for the MP70 facing the issue to see if it resolves the issue.

Yes the versions are the same and we build these using templates so they are identical except for IP addresses. We have reconfigured and rebooted several times

Is the template file for the MP70 experiencing issues still available? Please share both the template for the working MP70 and the one with issues.
You can try resetting the problematic MP70 device to factory settings and then applying the template from the functional MP70 with the same firmware to see if it resolves the problem.

What commands can be run to prove that the snmp service is on and reachable? Here are the logs from the firewall in front of the monitoring server showing that the connection is attempted.

Based on the logs I provided, I can’t be sure whether the issue is related to a hardware issue or a software issue.
According to the initial description, there were 40 devices working well, and if you’ve applied the template file from the working MP70 (with the same firmware) to the problematic MP70 device but cannot resolve the issue, it’s highly likely that it’s a specific issue.
