I have a bunch of the MP70 devices installed in advertising kiosks. They are using non-public facing cellular. I am trying to figure out if I can set up remote connections via an application or process that allows me to remotely connect to the devices on the LAN using Airlink. One device has a web browser connection using port 80, and some others have ssh only. If anyone is familiar with Netcloud, the remote connectivity provided by Netcloud is what I am looking for. Is this possible with these devices?
Hi @dsells,
Welcome to our community!
In order to remotely connect to devices connected to the LAN of the MP70 AirLink, as far as I know, there are two possible ways:
Option 1: Your gateway has a public IP assigned by your mobile service provider.
Option 2: The device uses a private IP provided by the network operator and supports routing.
Afterwards, please refer to the Port Forwarding section on page 231 of the AirLink MP Series Software Configuration Guide: https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/software_reference_docs/airlink-mp-series---configuration-guide/#sthash.p0j9NdH7.dpbs
Thanks,
