An mc7455 is showing up in Windows as a QDLoader 9008 device in the Device Manager. I know that some qualcomm phones go through this when part of the firmware gets corrupted. Any easy way to fix this on an mc7455?
Thanks.

Hi,
I’ve the same problem with my 2 MC7455 modules and already returned to factory for re-firmware flash. But someone had mentioned MC7455 firmware can be recovered via linux environment. Based on module specification if “QDLoader Port” was established onside Windows Device Manager that means this module was brought up at “boot and hold” status and waiting for “firmware” to be flashed. With current sierra firmware flash tools “fdt.exe”, couldn’t proceed further because no other options to “eliminate” asking for “modem status”.
