LX40 Network Watchdog

I am trying to understand if I am setting the Network Watchdog up properly. Does the Accelerated Interface Timer need to be enabled as well for it to work? I have searched everywhere but can’t find a clear answer.

I did see that, but I guess I read it wrong the first time. Reading it again, I do see the Network Watchdog wont work if the Accelerated Interface Scan is disabled. Seems kind of dumb to have it set up that way. Software should be written that if you enable Watchdog, then AIS is automatically enabled. Its absolutely useless to have Watchdog enabled and AIS disabled.
