How to change carrier (e.g. DOCOMO => SOFTBANK) with out rebooting WP76xx?

You should use absolute path instead of ./

I used the absolute path and the process went ahead.
But the Legato has become stopped same as before.
Also the result of AT!IMAGE? is as follows.

At!IMAGE?
TYPE SLOT STATUS LRU FAILURES UNIQUE_ID BUILD_ID
FW 1 FOTA 1 0 0 001.026_000 02.28.03.05_KDDI
FW 2 EMPTY 0 0 0
FW 3 EMPTY 0 0 0

Active FW image is at slot 1

KDDI is not added to, but DOCOMO is replaced with KDDI.

We need to look for another approach.

Regards,

Better try with another module

We have WP7603 as well.
Do you know whether WP7603 support DOCOMO?
Thanks,

Seems no …
https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airprime/software/wp76xx/wp76xx-firmware-release-13,-d-,1/

I should have checked the specifications first.
WP7603 does not support B1 band that DOCOMO is using.
Sorry for having disturbed you.
Regards,

I’ve tried and found that even though the active Legato frame work is for KDDI, if SIM is for DOCOMO, WP7605 would connect to DOCOMO.
Is it correct that the Legato framework itself does not affect the operation of MODEM?
We need to connect our device to DOCOMO, KDDI and SOFTBANK, but WP7605 seems to load just one Legato framework at a time.
Do you know the document that explains the difference among Legato frameworks for DOCOMO, KDDI and SOFTBANK?
Thanks in advacnce for your help.
Regards,

you can check ati8 for the legato version for comparison.

I might have misled you, sorry.
I’d like to know the differences of the functionalities among the three Legato frameworks, that are “WP76xx_Release13.3_DOCOMO.spk”, “WP76xx_Release13.3_KDDI.spk” and “WP76xx_Release13.3_SOFTBANK.spk”.
I don’t think the difference is just the name of the files.
Regards,

The carrier PRI file is different
But if you check the ati8 legato version, are they the same?

I’ve checked the build information as follows.

at!IMAGE?

It seems the difference is just the file name!
So, we can use the same Legato framework for DOCOMO and SOFTBANK.
Thanks,

they have same legato image:
