HL7692 "AT+COPS=?" does not respond

Hi,
My HL7692 module responds to “AT+COPS?” ok but does not respond to “AT+COPS=?”.
After 30secs I issue the command again and it responds with ABORTED. How long should I have to wait for an initial response?
My module is registered to EE 4G network with very good signal strength. Firmware version is V2.23.

Hi GaryATodd,

Sending AT+COPS=? will cause module to scan all enabled tech and bands (in your area) and then return a list of operators it can see. Depending on the number of operator/tech/bands, it can takes few minutes to complete the scanning. Sending any command during the operation will abort the scanning.
