FX30 Not Connected to network

Hello,

I am currently trying to connect an FX30 to network but does not succeed.

Following the manual, i entered the AT+CGDCONT to setup the APN but the PS-State from AT!GSTATUS? command stay “Not attached”.

I guess i’am missing some configuration steps, any idea ?

which network are you trying to attach? Orange?
Is “mobiledata” the correct APN?

The SIM card is provided by transatel.
Thus, i guess the APN is correct : Comment configurer mes terminaux pour utiliser les SIMs ?

One more details : transatel is multi-operator. In France, it is working with Orange, SFR, Free Mobile and Bouygues Telecom for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Network. But only Orange provide also LTE-M network.
So yes, reaching the Orange network might be the only available solution for this FX30 LTE-M modem.

(sorry, my typing mistake, it should be AT!ENTERCND instead of AT!ENTERCMD)

Is there any way to force to attach to orange?
Have you put this SIM to another cat-M device to see if other brand of module can register network?

lastly, you might also try to enable cat-M only in AT!SELCIOT command to see if there is any improvement

Forcing attach Orange network ?
I don’t know how to do, is there an AT-Command for that ?

Putting the SIM Card on an other CAT-M device ?
Unfortanatly, i haven’t an other CAT-M device.
I tryed to put the SIM Card on my Smarthone (Galaxy S20), it is reaching the 4G network (the SIM Card is activated), but it is not a CAT-M device.

Finally, i tryed to force CAT-M by setting at!selciot=2 and reboot the modem, but there is no improvement.
The “PS State” is still “Not attached”.

you can try the AT+COPS in manual mode to force it to attach to orange network
