We’ve been running into issues connecting to ES450 boxes web interface after installation. They’re still up and operational (pinging + devices behind the gateway are working) but we aren’t able to get to the web interface to make any changes that we want to. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has any tips. I am trying to search the forums and various help documents but haven’t found anything yet.
Are you referring to a software firmware upgrade and can’t access the web interface after the upgrade?
We haven’t heard of any issues.
What software version is the device running?
Have you tried to do a factory reset?
Also, use Chrome or Firefox as they seem to work fine opening the web interface. IE has some issues sometimes.
We have seen sporadic issues with our ES440/450s whereby the web interface does not respond after a node reload but the node is passing traffic as you describe. Typically simply reloading the node again resolves the issue. If you can’t physically access the node and if you have SMS capability through your provider, you can try issuing a &&&reset command (by default, requires the last 4 digits of the SIM as the password so complete SMS string would be: PW xxxx &&&reset where xxxx is the last 4 digits of the SIM.)
