EM9191 does not connect to 5G on Verizon

In my testing, EM9191 does not connect to 5G NSA on Verizon network. If I put the Verizon sim card in an iPhone, the iPhone connects to 5G band 5 along with LTE.

Is there any command or requirement for EM9191 to connect 5G bands on Verizon network?

By the way, with a T-Mobile sim card, EM9191 can connect to 5G on the T-Mobile network.

you need to establish data channel by MBIM and generate traffic in order to go to 5G(ENDC).

Hi, actually I generated heavy upload and light download traffic for about 30 minutes, but the module remained in LTE mode during the traffic. What kind of traffic will the module switch to ENDC? Are there other things to check? Thanks.

I remember I used IPERF to generate traffic.
Also please make sure the testing area is having 5G.

What is the 5G band combination for the ENDC in iphone?

I think iphone uses B13+n5. The screenshot below is from ios 15 last month (masked cell and TAC). ios 16 shows 5G NSA, B13+B48+B66.

EM9191 supports DC_5A-66A_n5A where 66A and n5 are uplink bands
But I don’t see B13+n5 for the RF combination…
