EM7511 module and Italian operator

Hi, I purchased a laptop with an EM7511 module installed for internet browsing. I tried to insert a SIM from a local operator “Italy” but it doesn’t work. A doubt arises in my mind, reading the characteristics of the module it seems that the 7511 is compatible in America. Is it possible to make it work in Italy too or do I have to replace the module? If I have to replace it, which module could I use to connect to an operator in Italy?

the FW is very old, and I am not quite sure why it is using ATT PRI.
I think you should use the GENERIC PRI with GCF approved

Also you need to set the correct APN in AT+CGDCONT.
