Hello,
I added a Sierra EM7455 card to my thinkpad x270, but since reinstalling Windows the card shows me disconnected, however it recognizes the network operator.
Before doing the reinstalling everything worked fine.
The drivers are up to date via the Lenovo website.
Do you have an idea of the problem?
Thanks.
how is the response of the following?
ATI3
AT!ENTERCND=“A710”
AT!IMPREF?
AT!GSTATUS?
AT+CFUN?
AT+CPIN?
AT!uims?
AT!USBCOMP?
Where to find the answer? Sorry I’m not an expert in command lines.
do you have modem port in device manager?
If yes, you can use tera term to open the port and type AT commands
I have a wifi card, ethernet card and the EM7455 card. On the other hand, no RJ45 cable, I only work via wifi or with the EM7455.
do you have modem port in device manager?
you can see this link where the user reinstall the driver with configuration.ini to enumerate the modem port:
Here is the list of components.
there is no modem port.
you can see this link where the user reinstall the USB driver with configuration.ini (setting USBCOMP=8) to enumerate the modem port:

i can see the module is registered on 3G.
Yes there is a sim card in it, the provider is detected but I don’t have internet
Okay, so you don’t know where my problem could come from?
no, i don’t know as i don’t see problem in win10 with MC7455
I don’t even know why your module is kept in 3G mode…
You can try to lock the module to LTE mode by AT!SELRAT and see if it can register network.
BTW, have you entered correct APN for your module in AT+CGDCONT?
You can also try with this skylight tool to see if you can establish data connection in MBIM mode or RMNET mode in AT!USBCOMP:
Ok thank you I will look at it
