Does MC7411 support SIM hot swap?

Hi,

I checked the MC7411 specs and found that the pin is not detected by SIM.
The AT command guide found the AT!CUSTOM=“SIMHOTSWAPDIS” command.
So, does MC7411 support SIM hot swap function?

It is working on my EM7565 (same chipset as MC7411).

I just tested it with MC7411, and I can’t use SIM card hot swapping.
And I found that there is no pin for SIM detection in the MC7411 specification.

Yes, the card cannot be detected.
I have tested different modules and different SIM cards, but they cannot use hot swap.

have you checked AT!UIMS?

Have you also tested in EM7411 modules with development kit?

Yes, the SIM can be recognized after power up.
MC7411 not tested on development kit.
EM7411 can support SIM hot swap after testing.
So I think it’s a hardware problem caused by no SIM detect pin.

I don’t see such SIM detect feature in the MC7411 specification.
