It seems renaming a project such that new and old name only differs by casing breaks the build system.
Also, the rename operation in that case can generate an exception.
It’s not a new issue that renaming a project can have multiple impacts that are not pretty well handled by the Eclipse CDT.
Anyway, we still have an entry in our backlog to either implement a workaround in DS, or make a proposal for fix in Eclipse CDT.
