It seems that shows the EMM reject cause in the message of +CEREG: https://telecompedia.net/lte-release-causes/ Is it the same for HL7800 and HL7810? Have you verified the wide band SIM with other vendor to make sure your SIM is working fine? Have you checked AT+CEER for more information?

We only have the HL7810 The sims work fine in different modems. AT+CERR gives the following ROAMING_NOT_ALLOWED_IN_THIS_TRACKING_AREA PLMN_NOT_ALLOWED

Yes we have checked with the operator - also these sims work with other equipment.

how did the operator say? did they provide the SIM for roaming? BTW, do you need to set the correct APN in AT+CGDCONT?

I think they are not CAT-M. The provider does not support CAT-M as far as I am aware. We are in discussions with the provider - it appears that wide band connections from other devices are fine but not from the HL7810. We think something must have changed with the operator which is now rejecting WB…

I’m not sure what CAT-M is but can you answer the question about a command to enable roaming ?

As said before, roaming is already enabled in your module
