I have tried installing the Genericdriver with the following configurations:
“USBCOMP=8”
“USBCOMP=9”
“USBCOMP=99”
Full configuration.ini:
[Default Values]
CHECKFORDEVICE=0
LOCATIONDRIVER=1
WIN8LOCATION=1
USBCOMP=8
no idea then, as other user can make it work
maybe you install 5087 version again then, as module already enumerates AT command port
It did not work. Any other ideas? 
you can install virtual machine of ubuntu linux and see if it works
If it works , then it is your windows problem
