Does anyone know if the WISMOs support the power control mechanism as described in GSM 7.10 5.4.7?

Obviously know one knows the answer to this perhaps another tack will help. Can anyone point me to a proper document that will describe the WISMO’s behaviour in this respect? The documents on this site are inadequate for this and the distributors don’t seem able to help, whenever I ask this question its like it goes into a black hole yet it’s a pretty straight forward question.
