Wavecom Q2406B GSM Modem IMEI Change

Is the Hardware Schematic the PDF you sent me in another thread. I read the pdf but I will be totally honest I don’t understand the circuit diagrams. I was assuming the bootpin would be very easy to identify to put the Modem in Bootloader mode.

and my main aim is to get DWLWIN to work.

is your hardware directly from wavecom?
OR it is a custom design board?

I believe its a Wavecom design board I bought it off a reseller

I cannot see the wavecom logo and even the module …

You can see the Wavecom on the Sim Slot I removed

@jyijyi If i was to remove all the Sim Slots would you be able to help me identify the bootpin on the design board?

You need to find out the boot pin in the module connector on pin12.

Btw, why do you need to use dwlwin?

@jyijyi Thanks for your help. I am still struggling to identify the pin 12 and the reseller who sold me the gsm said I should do so. I believe the modem has been refurbished or something.

Please see attached if you can please highlight the pin 12 and explain in very simple terms what I need to do.

I understand how to use AT Commands if it is involved in the process

Regards

You need to have the schematic and pcb layout.

Btw, why do you need to use dwlwin?

@jyijyi I mentioned why

The reseller who sold me the gsm said I should use DWLWIN. I believe the modem has been refurbished or something.

Please where can I find the schematic and pcb layout.

Regards

Then what file are you going to download by dwlwin?
Does reseller have pcb layout?
