Hi I have two wavecom Fastrack Supreme 20 modems, one with firmware version 663c & one with R73a. They are being used on an appliaction the runs on an embeded version of XP service pack 2. Everything works fine if the application is started in an area whre the signal strength is good, the modem is able to establish communications and works fine. The problem is when you start in an area where there is no signal strength, I get an error, error code 797 A CONNECTION TO THE REMOTE COMPUTER COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED BECAUSE THE MODEM WAS NOT FOUND OR WAS BUSY. When this error is displayed the modem is removed form the network connection. The only way to get it working again is to reconfigure the network connection and power down the modem, any ideas??
