Using FX30 as router using ethernet port eth0

Continuing the discussion from Using fx30, internet router:

I am trying also to use FX30 as a simple router using ETHERNET port eth0 but I was not able to make it work. I’ve tried everything in the

FX30: Network Interfaces and Firewall
Rules Application Note

without success.

My setup is the following:

  • FX30 with active SIM card and active data connection (cm data connect works and cm data displays remote IP for wan)
  • FX30 can resolve dns and have internet access
  • Linux IP device (ThingMagic Sargas rfid reader) connector the ETHERNET port eth0 of the FX30 using fixed IP 192.168.13.20 with gateway 192.168.13.31

What I am able to do:

  • from Ip device: ping 192.168.13.31 OK
  • ssh 192.168.13.31 OK

What I would like to do:

  • full internet access from ip device through FX30 (connection only initiated from ip device) using strickly ETHERNET port (not USB)

I’ve read pretty much every post containing FX30 and ethernet on this Disourse forum and could’nt get it to work! Thanks for your help!
