USB Power issues with GL6110

Hi, I noticed a power supply issue with GL6110. It seems to draw a lot of power, sometimes, if there is another USB device attached to the PC, the modem will not work properly.

The specs says: SUPPLY VOLTAGE 4,75V to 32V DC input, [2A peak/4,75V, 3mA Idle]

2A is a lot of USB power! If i need to connect 16 modems, what is the power requirement for the USB hub i need? Thanks.

Hi,

what do you mean when you say “the modem will not work properly”.Do you see some errors

what is your specific requirement ??

Thanks for replying, I found the solution, just use an externally powered USB hub.

By the way, if you know, please help with Error when installing GL6110 USB driver
