RV5X with 4.17.1 and with SNMP tester, I can’t get SNMPv3 SHA AES combo to work. Below does work:

V3 SHA DES
I’m using Debug your SNMP configuration with SNMP Tester and able to pull OIDs when testing.
Any ideas.

→ I’m still not clear on what you mean. Do you mean that you can’t get SNMPv3 SHA AES combo to work and it only works with V2, is that correct? If not, please describe in more detail.
- Have you followed the instructions in the SNMPv3 section on pages 251-253 of the RV50X Software Configuration Guide? Link to Software Configuration Guide: source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/software_reference_docs/airlink-rv-series—configuration-guide/
- Please make sure that you have entered the correct SNMPv3 information on both the RV50X and the SNMP tool.
- If the issue still persists, please share the template file from the RV50X with me.

SNMPv3 is setup for “Read Only SNMP User.” FYI - I am not using Read/Write SNMP User or TRAP server User which is default with “disable” and/or “none”
So with Read Only SNMP user, it does work when I use
Authentication Type = SHA
Privacy Type = DES
It does NOT work when I change the Auth type = SHA with Privacy Type = AES

Could you please share the template file, screenshot of the configuration on the SNMP tool and what the error message is?
