RV50x ACEmanager access extremely slow

We are setting up an RV50x to communicate with a couple of data acquisition devices (datalogger and camera). We can access the datalogger and camera through port forwarding. However, when we attempt to access ACEmanager, the connection is very slow to load and sometimes fails. Too, we can’t seem to get through on https, just http. The signal chain is Rv50x to unmanaged Phoenix Contact switch to the camera and datalogger. We can access the Rv50x through the USB network interface fine, our only issues seem to be over cellular. Any similar experience and wisdom is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi @jbanders ,
Welcome you to our community!
First of all, please upgrade to the latest firmware and radio firmware on your RV50X following the link below:
https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/software_downloads/rv50/rv50-firmware-list/#sthash.TLiyvWEi.dpbs
Second, check your network and make sure it has no issue
Then try again. Do the issue still happens in this case?

Thanks,

I updated the ALEOS Software and Radio Firmware to the latest versions. I am still seeing the following issues:

  1. Some connections have no issue and can load ACEmanager and also see the connected devices with no speed issue.

  2. Some connections timeout or connect to ACEmanager very slowly.

Are there any browsers that are preferred to access ACEmanager? I have downloaded a clean browser that is only used for connecting to the system and see similar problems (no no history or cookie issue), while at the same time I can use a non cleared browser in other cases and get complete access.

Could it possibly be network filtering between the PC and the cellular modem?

As a side note, we seem to have better luck connecting with http rather than https.

Again, and wisdom from RV50x users is appreciated.

Hi @jbanders ,
Could you please clarify with me some information as follows:
You said: “Some connections have no problems” mean:

  1. Multiple connections access to the ACEmanager at the same time and there are some connections successful and failed.

Or

  1. Only one connection access to the ACEmanager at different times, sometimes it successful and sometimes it fails.

Thanks,
