I am trying to update my Airlink RV50’s (have 50 of them) but the only firmware update available (4.13) says to apply it only to 4.9 or higher. Where can I find 4.9?

• You can upgrade the firmware directly on AirVantage. Go to Monitor -> select your System -> click on “Upgrade Firmware” button and then select the firmware to upgrade.
• Or You can go to Develop -> Public Apps -> filter with Name = “RV50” Select the firmware, and download the zip file -> Extract that file and then upgrade RV50 firmware via your PC.

You need to download the RV50 firmware to your PC --> Extract that file and then upgrade RV50 firmware in AIRLINK.
You can download it in AirVantage (https://eu.airvantage.net/) or https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/amm/gateway-software-packages/
Or you can upgrade the firmware directly on AirVantage. Go to Monitor -> select your System -> click on “Upgrade Firmware” button and then select the firmware to upgrade.

But it says the version I have is not upgradable to the current version. Where do I get the “in between” version?

Thanks @jerdung I sent an email for the requested 4.9.3 download.
I attempted to upgrade the firmware to 4.16.0 from 4.8.0 but the process failed with error“ Could not read memory type from radio module firmware”. Are there any special instructions on how to upgrade to 4.16.0 from a much older firmware version? Is this possible?

I have same issue. Latest firmware can be implemented i from 4.9.0 or later.But if RV50 modem have 4.9.0 lower then there is no way to do upgrade to latest since there is no bridge firmware (4.9.3 i blieve) available for download.

For firmware lower than ALEOS 4.9.0, It would be best to install ALEOS 4.9 first and then to ALEOS 4.13 before updating to ALEOS 4.16
Please email tech support: support@sierrawireless.com to get ALEOS 4.9.0 version
In addition, you can also upgrade the firmware via Airvantage.

Thank you. I emailed tech support last Thursday and again today as well as left a voice message for technical support to provide software download link for 4.9.0 and 4.9.3.
“Not Found” error is returned when attempting to download 4.9.0 or 4.9.3 from https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/amm/gateway-software-packages/.
